# 04. Optional custom attributes

This chapter will go more into details about the custom attributes you can use.

The built in attributes gives you a lot more flexibility when designing a header/row.

When using "simple html" and "column.bind" part of the grid, these are added by default. Unless you are using custom HTML for the making of the column you will not notice these.
