1.6 Themes selector

Click on the Theme menu item results with the invocation of the theme selector pop-up window

Selecting any of the 16 supported themes results with the application and all elements of its Components catalog be rendered using the selected theme.

The above screen shot indicates that the KendoUI Default theme is the default theme. This can be changed using this line.
